New Month, (Some) New Thoughts

I know I’m 4 days late, but happy October! Although October isn’t my favorite month (I’m not the biggest fan of Halloween, sorry all you super fans), it is the beginning of things I do love: boots, sweaters, hot coffee, seasonal vegetables, apple picking, apple pie… I could go on and on. Livin’ in the Real World

Last week was one of those weeks. You know exactly what I’m talking about. The kind of week where you can’t seem to do anything right. Taylor Swift got it wrong in her song 22 – I was not “happy, free, confused and lonely all at the same time.” It was more along the lines of frustrated, trapped, confused and overwhelmed all at the same time. I Got #Plated

I love living in my new apartment – the commute is so much better (40 minutes compared to an hour and a half), my room is cutely decorated (pics to come), and I’m starting to feel like a real, big, grown adult (which I don’t want to be yet). There is one thing that is not fun about living on my own: coming home from work after a long day and struggling to figure out what to make for dinner. What a luxury it was to live at home and know that dinner was always waiting on the table for me.

Plated came in and made things easy.
